Whoops. Yesterday when we posted an edited-edit of TechCrunch50/uber-entrepreneur Jason Calacanis' manifesto on how to properly pitch an investor, we didn't realize that it may have been poached from another source. This morning Valleywag's reporting that Calacanis may have pulled some of the material from a handbook created by the founder of a competing event—Demo, a charge he's denying.

The result of all this he said-she said? It's totally on—with Demo firing off accusatory emails and TechCrunch posting its own scathing response to those missives here.

For our purposes it doesn't matter where the information came from (although the geek fighting is fun to watch), but given that two camps are squabbling over who came up with it first, that must mean it's really good advice. In case you missed it yesterday, find our version here.
