Weekly Round-Up: It's Been A Busy Five Days.

-While Wachovia and WaMu CEOs got booted for stock prices that dropped too low, this CEO got indicted for getting clients, execs, and other people high. While some of you may be saying, "What's the problem?", the sticking point was that it was - allegedly - against their will.

-A Portland, Oregon entrepreneur is trying to open the Green Microgym, the first fitness facility that will generate most of its own power through the legwork of its members.

-Start-up website You've Been Left Behind is charging believers a mere $40 annually for the all-important task of delivering an email to your sinning friends and family letting them know that the Rapture is going down, and that you've peaced to heaven. Later, suckers!

-Wal-Mart and online classifieds start-up Oodle.com announced this week that they're going to tag team Craigslist with a new online classifieds site. The big question, though, is whether Wal-Mart can really compete with a site that's best known for its raunchy personals.

-Starbucks launched its new, semi-free Wi-Fi service this week, which apparently is only efficient if have an iPhone. Kind of like their burnt coffee, it'll work in a pinch, but there's probably better stuff at the indy coffee shop next door.

-The New York Times is so five days behind us.

-Lastly, we gave a quick and dirty lesson on patent searches. No shooting the messenger though if your idea isn't as original as you thought!
