Weekly Round-Up: Google Still King Of The World.

-We questioned whether it actually makes sense to stash your savings in your mattress as opposed to, say, Washington Mutual.

-Survey Says that you guys don't care whether your beer is American, Belgian, or from Mars. While apparently some Americans are still disturbed that Budweiser will no longer technically be an "American beer" you guys say who cares? Now pass the Stella.

-eBay managed to anger the sellers who've made small businesses out of selling junk, or treasures, that is, on its auction site. This week they announced a partnership with Buy.com, who they're offering special rates on sellers' fees and more. It may be bad news for small business, but given the decline in popularity of online auctions, didn't anyone see this coming?

-Despite a [kinda] bad week for Google on the stock market, the online search engine/king of the world is still dominating the search market—and making plenty of cash.

-That supposed "crisis" in the VC industry? It may exist for IPOs, but for entrepreneurs seeking start-up capital, it's all good.

-For this week's Q&A, you asked us how to create financial projections for a business that doesn't exist. We said: make 'em up!

-While a lot of smart entrepreneurs are scrambling to find ways to make travel these days more efficient and comfortable, the guy sleeping in this tent he's invented for business travelers misses the mark, you said.
