Think things are tough for your small business? Obviously you've haven't heard what's afoot at Google: the Internet search giant announced today that they're scaling back on those famous free meals that are (or once were) ubiquitous on their campus.

Valleywag's reporting that Google's specifically axing dinner, the afternoon "snack attack" (whatever that is), and the tea trolley. Word is that Google doesn't want to shell out for the cost anymore in an attempt to keep profit margins high - and that may signal that maybe times are a little tougher for the company than they're willing to let on. But still—um, sob?
