More Trouble For The SBA.

More bad news from the Small Business Administration regarding their handling of small business contracts. The Washington Post reports that they're currently operating their $8 billion HUBZone using old and incorrect information, according to a new government report. The report, which will be released at the House Small Business hearing today, reveals apparent fraud in the program, which gives federal contracts to small business owners in low income areas. The current map the SBA uses to determine who gets contracts includes 50 urban counties that shouldn't be included, and excludes 27 non-urban areas that are eligible for the contracts.

This comes on the heels of a report several weeks ago, which revealed the the SBA handed out contracts meant for small businesses to large, Fortune 500 companies.

We hate to say it, but is anyone surprised?

Not under this administration. They would switch babies at birth if it profited their coffers.
