More Money: Who Raked In The Dough This Week.

-Juma Technology pulled in $1.45 Million in third rounding funding this week. The company provides IP solutions for businesses that include Fortune 100 companies and the NYC emergency response systems.

-Twitter the Internet "micro-blogging" tool that allows people to overshare even the tiniest details of their life closed another round of funding yesterday. Maybe this new infusion of cash will help solve their persistent downtime issues.

-SunRun secured $12 million in first round funding on Tuesday. The company is one of the first residential solar electricity providers, which means they hook you up with solar panels and only charge for the solar electricity you use, much in the same way your utility company charges you for power. The cash is intended to help them hire additional staff (only 14 people right now!), and to potentially open a satellite office in Southern California, where we hear sun is aplenty.

-B2B firm Simparel raised $4 million in first round funding this week. They NY-based web company helps businesses in the apparel, accessories, costume jewelry, toy, and footwear industries manage their supply chain. Sounds like a good thing. They plan to spend their money on continuing development of their main platform, and on sales and marketing.

-Textdigger scored $3.8 million in VC funding, it announced Monday. The software company helps businesses with keywords generation, tagging, and other tools that make it easier to search engine optimize a company's website.

-Pharma's apparently still big, with Alvine Pharmaceuticals adding another $5 million in funding to its grand total of $26 million to date. Alvine researches treatments for autoimmune and GI disorders, and is currently working on a treatment for people who are unable to process gluten.
