More Money: Here's Who's Flush With VC Cash.

-VideoIQ secured $10 million in second round investment for its "smart" security cameras. The company, which launched this spring, manufactures surveillance equipment that makes it easy to quickly locate a potential burglary or other dirty deed without someone having to watch hours of tape. The cameras can also transfer video to the Internet—ostensibly for storage on hard drives, although we see great YouTube opportunities here as well.

-Why meet in a conference room when you can all get together online? So goes the thinking behind Dimdim, a start-up that provides free online web meetings. They received $6 million in Round B funding this week, following $2.4 million in investment last year. They plan to use the money for marketing.

-Who says that playing video games is a waste of time? Not the founders of GameDuell, who raked in $17 Million in second round funding this week for their Internet gaming community. Players can compete against other for prizes, or can play solo games like Solitaire or Sudoku.

-Webaroo raised $10 million this week for their site SMSGupShup. Its embarassingly bad name aside, SMSGupShup is a community website that lets people join various groups based on their interests and sends them updates via text. While, as TechCrunch notes, it's a lot like Twitter, GupShup apparently delivers critical information—say if there was an emergency—as opposed to just inane yammering.

-Pharma scores again. Agios Pharmaceuticals closed $33 million in first round funding this week for the admirable pursuit of creating drugs that disrupt cancer cells. They plan to direct that cash toward further research and development.

-Software start-up Daxko received $7M in funding to grow its business providing basic software programs to non-profits, including the YMCA.
