First there were pet cemeteries. Then there were pet urns and funerals. Now BioArts international, a northern California biotech company, is offering pet owners the chance to bring their beloved pets back to life through cloning, according to MSNBC. Their tagline: "What if you could be best friends...again?" They're hosting a series of five online auctions where the highest bidders will win a clone of their dog (living or dead—you just need its DNA). Each auction starts at $100K.
While the business is more than a little creepy, from an entrepreneurial perspective, they're just responding to demand, right?

The pet/dog market is so huge right now, it's about time someone did something creative with it.

The soil of a man's heart is stonier, Louis - like the soil up there in the old Micmac burying ground. Bedrock's close. A man growns what he can... and he tends it.
