Are you a 40-something woman looking for a younger guy? Apparently you're not alone. In more niche Internet business news, The Financial Times reports that dating site www.Toyboywarehouse.com is looking for an investor. The British site, which connects 40-plus women with younger men, has had such great success since its launch 18 months ago that it needs funding to go international. Founder Julia Macmillan says the site's done so well because she found and capitalized on a gap in the market. While sites like Match.com, "fix up women of a certain age with retired golf-playing accountants," Toyboywarehouse sets users up with younger men.

Other niche dating sites have popped up recently too—theAtlassphere.com connects Ayn Rand fans and Farmersonly.com is a site where, you guessed it, women can meet eligible farmers (seriously). Personally, I'll be surprised if there's enough people out there to actually support such sites. However, given the myriad of quirks and proclivities that people display, maybe the market for specialized dating sites is limitless.
